Many employers are now employing to meet urgent talent needs. Here is our list of companies that are hiring now. An elite, low-profile unit within CDCR is the Fugitive or FAT application team, consisting of just over eighty agents assigned to offices across the state. FAT agents are investigators and are associated with the Warrants Unit of the United States Marshals Service (USMS) to locate and arrest people wanted for acts of violence, whether under the jurisdiction of CDCR or local authorities. Fat officers provide services to local authorities whose resources do not allow them to prosecute perpetrators who have fled their jurisdictions, offenders wanted for acts of violence, and persons wanted on federal warrants. SSU officers conduct a criminal investigation involving probation officers and inmates, monitor prison gangs, collect information, and enforce narcotics. Special agents work closely with other law enforcement agencies such as the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the California Department of Justice, and local police and sheriff`s departments. . . .
